Career Readiness Series

Trinity Together supports students and adult career exploration with tools and resources to successfully transition into the workforce or pursue postsecondary education. Drawing on expertise in career development and industry expectations, our team creates engaging programs that help youth build practical skills, confidence, and real-world experience. These enrichment sessions can be offered in or out of the classroom and are available for individual students or entire cohorts. Individuals, programs, or educators interested in connecting their learners to this opportunity are encouraged to reach out to our team!

Career Conversations: In an enriching career exploration series, students identify their field of interest and are linked to a professional in that field. Over the course of a semester, students prepare questions, present their resume and their interests to the professional expert, and engage in a conversation to gain real-world insights, ask thoughtful questions, and receive personal feedback. This experience helps students build confidence, expand their professional network, and better understand the skills, pathways, and expectations associated with their chosen career field. Individuals, learners or educators can reach out to Trinity Together to schedule this career exploration experience.

Employability Skills, Resume Writing, Mock Interviews: In a series or stand-alone workshop, the Trinity Together team works with 9th-12th grade students on identifying their own strengths and interpersonal skills, developing those further and articulating them for career and college success through email, cover letter and resume writing. In a culminating activity, students can engage in a Mock Interview with a panel of local professionals, where they can practice their interview skills and receive feedback. This series works to prepare students for success in scholarships, college and career pursuits. Educators interested in providing their students with this hands-on skill-building experience are encouraged to contact us to schedule a session.

Industry Workforce Panels: This community-based effort brings a panel of professional industry experts together to share their journey to their career, the skills needed to succeed and their insight into securing employment. Students have the opportunity to ask questions, network and are provided with local work-based learning, volunteer or employment opportunities in the targeted industry. These industry-specific professional learning opportunities are open to all learners. Beyond our existing panels, educators can collaborate with the Trinity Together team to tailor a workforce panel around specific industries of interest for their students. Visit our Home Page for upcoming workforce panel events.

Pathway Mapping: Learners identify their industry of interest and are guided through various pathway options to gain their desired employment. Trinity Together associates will link learners to local, regional or national options and map out possible pathways to reach the learners’ desired goals. Individuals or educators who would like to enhance existing career mapping efforts are encouraged to contact us to schedule a session. Please see our Resources page for existing regional pathway resources.
